The Tascas

Slowly photographing (and eating) my way through tascas in and around Lisbon.
Beyond the food, what separates one from the other is the people running these establishments. Hospitality and a love for one’s craft quite unlike anything else. Despite the long and arduous hours, their spirit never seems to waiver.
With many still working well into their older years, these family run restaurants truly are, in my opinion, the beating heart and soul of this city.
